Starting Your Photography Business

When I started my own photography business, it was the most likely the hardest decision that I have ever made. I have been shooting daily for about seven years now and just decided that it was time to do more. So I started talking to people in the industry, watching videos and planning my business. Although we are still in the startup phase. I can see a potential for growth in my area. Though it is hard to thrive in this industry. What I would tell anyone who would like to do this kind of work is just go for it. Most states do not require a lot of things to get started. I would recommend that you start out doing mainly "on location' shooting for things like wedding and events. That way you do not have all of the overhead that a studio requires. If the need is there for a studio. I would recommend that you rent the space as a job by job basis first.
