Do you ever have those moments where you just can't be as creative as you would like to be? What about those moments where you have no idea where to begin? You are not alone! When I have no clue where to start I will very often go and photograph my surroundings. Just to see if I can get something different. In our line of work shooting the same thing (or things). Be it weddings, parties or portraits. It can all become kind of the same feeling overall. So I find that shooting my everyday surroundings and trying to find new in something that I have literally photographed hundreds of times a challenge that will help me become a better photographer. I mean after all if we just take things at face value, Will we really give the client what they are expecting. I think that to be a good photographer you have to look through the everyday. Even in the hardest of situations. If we can find beauty in that, Then we have done our jobs.
